Modern Pilot (www.modernpilot.com)
I start the new “Surfing” category today. I could also call it “Hangar talk”, but this would be a bit close of a famous column of a flying magazine… This new category is kind of an enhanced “link” page. I prefer sharing links for non flying days this way, because I can give more info about the target website. Later on, I will probably also add a links section, when there will be enough links…
The first website I want to share with you is Modern Pilot, the free online magazine for pilots. It is animabed by a handful of editor / pilots, representing nearly all possible aviation activities, from PPL to ATPL airliner pilots.
I really enjoy this website because I have the same passion for modern general aviation. Amongst others, this website includes few blogs, airport reviews, a simulation section, and much more…
The scope is wide, and frequently updated. A perfect match for day you can’t fly because of weather, or because you’re trapped in your office !
