D-Jet update

Some fresh news about the D-Jet have been released recently by Diamond. The D-Jet with serial number 002 mad its first flight and testing goes on. Peter Maurer also announced in the London Free Press that Diamond strongly committed to produce the plane in London, Ontario. The deal is not settled yet, but seems to be on the way.

Last but not least, there is now a QuickTime VR 3D model of the D-Jet cockpit available for pilots and dreamers ! You can use it to zoom to the last detail. It gives a 360 view of the inside of the plane. Amongst others, you will notice the 3 screen G1000 (2 PFDs, 1 MFD), but also the yoke ! The D-Jet won’t have the central stick which is well known by other Diamond aircrafts. This interactive video is here !
