Fuselages made of composite are like plastic - I'm the Plastic Pilot who flies the plastic planes
This is my blog, and it's about modern general aviation, glass-cockpits, FADECs, but also aviation in general

Improved layout

I somehow compacted this blog’s layout a bit, in an attempt to streamline it, make it more readable, easier to navigate, and give even more room to content. I hope you’ll enjoy it - feel free to contact me to give me any feed-back, even if you found a bug, or simply hate it ;-)

Blog Upgrade Completed !

I just finished some works on the blog that should make it even more enjoyable for you and me. At first I upgraded to WordPress 2.3.2, making use of tags possible. All previous posts are not tagged yet, this will be done within the next few days.

A new set of categories has been defined:

  • About this blog - All on the blog life
  • Air Accidents - Information on accidents and investigations
  • Flying Tips - Safety and practical tips, from pilot to pilot
  • Memorial Section - Dedicated to those who flew away…
  • Modern Aviation - Glass cockpits, FADEC engines and composite fuselage
  • My Favorite Links - Other websites I like
  • On Airports and Airlines - Insider view on air transport industry
  • Photo Album - All my best aerial photos, plus some from other spotters
  • Pilot Reports - Feedback from extraordinary flights
  • Pilots Talk - The kind of discussions we have in aero-clubs…
  • Speaker’s Corner - Aviation Advocacy and Politics

The color schemes and layout have also be slightly modified, with more visible headlines, unified color for date, category, and introduction of tags.

From now on the comments are automatically moderated using Askimet - avoiding me to manually filter out the 10 daily spam comments I usually get. If one of your comment is wrongly filtered out, please let me know.

I hope you will appreciate this improved plasticpilot.net, and be sure that all comments are welcome !
