Me, Cyber-terrorist ! The bug is solved

The bug which lead some of you to an HTTP 403 Error - Access forbidden is now solved. After exchanging a couple of mails with the company hosting this blog, it appears that the source of the problem was their keyword based security system. Some of my posts were flagged as “suspicious” because of the repeated use of the word… cockpit !

Plastic Pilot Certificates - Thank You FAA !

The FAA issued on 28th of February 2008 its final rule about plastic pilot certificates. If you found my blog searching for “plastic pilot certificate”, you’re welcome, even if I’ve not a lot to say about it, but look at the links at the end. As a pilot, there are chances you’ll find something interesting on this blog.

I chose “Plastic Pilot” as pen-name last year, when I started blogging about my experience flying planes with composite fuselages (a.k.a. plastic planes). When all the buzz about plastic pilot certificates started, this blog received many visitors because of its name.

If you’re new to this blog, it’s all about modern general aviation, glass cockpits, FADECs, but also airlines, airports, and aviation as a whole. A good starting point is to look at The Archives, or at my Photo Galleries. You can also picks a tag, like G1000, FADEC, DA40, or accident. Don’t go away without a look at my Video Gallery, particularly this movie taken from a C172 landing and taking-off in Courchevel.

Should nothing be of interest to you, you will find information about plastic pilot certificates, here are links to relevant pages of AOPA and FAA websites.
