Cirrus SR22 Crash in Zurich

by Vincent on November 2, 2008

The Swiss Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau published an initial information about the crash of the Cirrus N467BD. Click here to read the information, in German.

The aircraft departed Geneva, on an IFR flight plan to Berlin. While en-route, the pilot requested a diversion to Zurich because of a failed alternator. During the approach to runway 14, the pilot announced further problems, whose nature has not been communicated yet.

I’ll post again when more information will be available.
