Ferrying AT-3 to Switzerland with PlasticPilot’s support

Few weeks ago, Tomek left a comment on my “Tips for VFR Flying in Switzerland” post to prepare a ferry flight to Bern with an AT-3. I answered per comment and per e-mail and this started an interesting discussion. We rapidly found a good strategy for Tomek’s flight.

The flight is now completed and Tomek sent me pictures of it. The weather was fine: low winds, scattered ceilings at sufficient altitude to make flying in the Alps easy. The photos he sent have bring a lot of memories of my own flying to the surface. Just have a look at that and see how beautiful the Alps are.

If you feel like going there, you should first read the new page I just posted which contains all my tips for flying in Switzerland and this one about flying in the Alps. If you have questions after that, feel free to leave a comment or to contact me. It’s always a great pleasure to receive such feedback after helping a fellow pilot to fly in my previous playground.

Thank you Tomek.
