Mountain Lake in Nufenen Area
These two lakes are on top of the Nufenen Pass, in the Swiss Alps. This picture has been taken from a DA40 TDI, flying from Lausanne (LSGL) to Lugano (LSZA), when crossing the pass towards south.
This pass is on the boudary between German- and Italian-speaking parts of Switzerland. As there was no wind on this day, we could fly relatively low, and admire the lakes and the valley behind.
